DD5HW1 Emphasis

After reading over the Writer's Checklist in Chapter 9, I learned some things about how titles, headings, paragraphs should look. In my project, I changed the title of my third manual from "How to change the template/layout of each of your Google Slides/ Slide Theme/ and Slide Transition" to "How To Change the Layout, Theme, or Transition of each of your Google Slides." The revised title is less wordy and more straight forward. I changed the wording of the descriptions for each of the titles to be more accurate, including what I assumed what the user already knows. This provides appropriate support to the titles and ensures that the audience is able to reach Step 1.

DD6HW2 Brainstorm

Brainstorm What graphics are important to your field? Most engineering firms have logos/brands and they want their brand to be widely known. Graphics in terms of Charts can be very helpful. Charts such as a Bar Chart can be very helpful. When presenting to a group of people information, they'd rather see a bar chart representing the data you chose instead of seeing boring numbers. How graphics are important to your field? Just like a Bar Chart, you can represent data in a more visual way instead of looking at numbers. When it comes to manuals/instructions, people would rather see a visual with the parts being place together, as it is easier and has less confusion than a verbal description. DD9HW2 Reflect on PR

Being a pretty novice writer trying to improve my writing skills, I can see some problems with my paper. First of all, I can work on the flow of my column. I should include an introductory paragraph to introduce the audience to what I am about to discuss in the column. Second of all, I can work on expanding my vocabulary to entice to readers to read further. Lastly, I can try to make it more understandable by making references the audience would understand.
